In the case of HVO Production, waste feedstock Pre-treatment is a crucial step prior to Hydrotreatment.
All vegetable wastes contain impurities and a lot of contaminants which affect the correct plant operation and provoke frequent plant shutdowns, lowering the service factor and causing high maintenance costs and production losses. In particular, some challenging contaminants can lead to the poisoning of catalysts or not be suitable for the metallurgic materials of HVO plants.
TECHNOILOGY fine-tuned an exclusive Special Treatment capable of complying with the most stringent HVO catalysts licensor’s limits. More specifically, our Special Treatment can reduce the most challenging contaminants to the following levels, depending on the inlet specifications of the feedstock to be treated:
