TECHNOILOGY signed an agreement with Hayawi, a Saudi business company, for the manufacturing of a UCO oil Biodiesel factory.

The plant will comprise the following units:

• UCO Oil Cleaning
• Deacidification
• Biodiesel
• Biodiesel Post-Distillation

The deal confirms Saudi Arabia commitment for a more sustainable energy industry. In fact, since the launch of Vision 2030 programme in 2016 and in particular through its Saudi Green Initiative, the Kingdom has taken significant steps to scale up its climate action and environmental protection.

“Building a Biodiesel facility from UCO in countries that are traditionally considered oil countries is thrilling as it shows how the world is changing. It also gives us the opportunity to demonstrate our expertise with waste oils Treatment”, said Fabio Dalla Giovanna, Business Development Director.
